iVision Continues Market Momentum with Senior Management Appointments

iVision, the leading Australian systems integrator providing Unified Communications (UC) products and solutions, has announced two senior management appointments to address the growing demand for Unified Communications solutions.
 
Rodney Splitt joins iVision as Corporate Services Manager based in Brisbane.
 
Rodney has more than ten years’ experience of working in both the private and public sector with a track record of reliably delivering complex high-value business projects in multi-disciplinary environments.  He will be responsible for aligning iVision’s business and IT strategies to sustain the company’s growth for the future. 
 
Rodney joins iVision from AirServices Australia where he was Commercial Advisor responsible for providing commercial, procurement and contract advice to the organisation’s project delivery teams. He previously spent eight years with Suncorp in several senior roles including Manager of Corporate Real Estate, Manager for IT Procurement, Network Service Team Leader, and Security and Internet Specialist.  Within these roles, he was responsible for cost management, commercial analysis, negotiation and remediation, selective sourcing and operational strategies. 
 
Rodney has also worked as Systems Technologist for BHP IT and in telecommunications management roles for both Adecco and Tyndall Group (now Promina).
 
Eva Shafer has joined iVision as Marketing Manager based in Melbourne and will be responsible for marketing communications, marketing strategy and planning and product marketing.  Her focus will be on the development and launch of iVision’s five key service areas and ensuring alignment of those services with the market’s overall UC requirements.  Another major focus area will be to communicate iVision’s position as the leading UC systems integrator in Australia.
 
Eva joins iVision with 17 years’ industry experience which includes working for some of largest global service providers such as Verizon Business and Sprint, and one of the largest manufacturers of conferencing solutions, Polycom.  Her roles within these organisations have been primarily in product marketing and planning with a focus on conferencing network products and IP Telephony.  Just prior to iVision, Eva started C2C Analysis which has now grown to an eight-team, global consulting organisation providing UC strategy and business case development services to organisations considering UC deployments.
 
iVision offers five key service areas essential to supporting the customer in their UC lifecycle: Design and Consultation, Implementation and Integration and , Managed Services, Hosted Services, and Usage and Adoption.  Last year, Frost & Sullivan announced that revenues from UC technology deployments in Australia are expected to jump from $868.6 million in 2008 to $1 billion by 2012 (Frost & Sullivan: Australia Unified Communications Market Report 2009).
